CLPR & Hamartia Combo 5-in-1 Game

CLPR & Hamartia Combo 5-in-1 Game

$115.00Price

CLPR (pronounced "Clipper") is an acronym for "Corners, Lanes, Push, Race", which are 4 different original games that can be played on the board. All 4 games are played using different numbers of metal pegs and dice with different setups detailed in the rules on this site. 3 of the games are fast pacedgames of chance where 2 to 4 players race to different positions on the board, and the 4th game, Push, is a 2 player turn taking game where you try to push your opponent's pegs off of the board.

All 4 games are games of chance and do not require any strategic thinking. So sit back, relax, and roll some dice with your friends and family.

Hamartia (Ha-mar-ti-a; Greek meaning to err or miss the mark) is an originally developed, designed, and handcrafted dice game from The Happy Quacker. This game is intended for older children and adults, though younger kids can play with scoring assistance. A basic understanding of mathematical concepts is required to play this game.

Hamartia is a fast paced strategic dice rolling game where 2-4 players play with 2 dice and take turns rolling 1 dice at a time to score the highest amount of points possible for the round. Players score points by having their dice land on the margins, or fully inside the circles present on the board. If a player's dice ends the round not touching or landing inside a circle, then that dice lands in the "Hamartia" and subtracts 2 points from the resepctive dice. To add strategy to the game, players can knock each others dice on the board and change the scores for that round. The player with the highest score at the end of the round wins that round, and play restarts. Players use their 3rd dice to keep track of their won rounds, and play can continue up to 6 rounds max for an entire game.
